| The Laurel Medical Centre
was built in 1975 and continues as a multi professional health care centre.
It contains offices where patients can visit their family physician, physiotherapist,
specialists such as dermatologists, rheumatologists, orthopedic surgeons,
plastic surgeons, ear, nose and throat specialists and internists. There
is also a fully equipped radiology suite a lab (MDS) and a pharmacy.
